The Bennett Associates stand at the Civils Exhibition created
a great deal of interest. The main focus being on the fully operating 1/50th
scale model of the Falkirk Wheel, however this did not over shadow the broad
base of projects that have benefited from the involvement of Bennett Associates.
Also represented on the stand were examples of Bennett's
involvement in the Airbus A380 Project - the world's largest commercial
airliner. Bennett's are busy designing and project managing the installation of
the new Creep Forming facility that will produce the massive 30m plus wing
skins.
There was also a great deal of interest in the many Moving
Structures in which Bennett Associates has had a design involvement.
Bennett Associates carries out bespoke
mechanical and structural design engineering across virtually all engineering
disciplines for clients throughout the world. The company was formed in 1984 and
have expanded their client base, reputation and share of these very specialised
areas of engineering work every year since. The directors, all of whom are
highly respected and experienced design engineers, have gathered around them a
diverse team of engineers many of them leaders in their respective fields.
