David Atkinson a Year in Industry student with Bennett
Associates has won the regional heat of the Year in Industry Contribution to the
Business Awards 2007 and is through to the national finals in London.
David spent a year with Bennetts before starting his Mechanical
Engineering degree studies at Leeds University. During his year with Bennetts,
David has been working on many varied projects including the Isle of Grain
horizontal directional drilling projects for which his outstanding contribution
has won him though to the final to be held at the Royal College of Physicians,
Regent’s Park, London on Thursday 6th September 2007. David will be one of 10
finalists each having won through their respective regional heats.
Bennett Associates first started its involvement with the Year in
Industry scheme in 1994, making this the 13th year. We trust that this time 13
will prove lucky and David will win through in the final.
Everyone at Bennett Associates wishes David well not only
with the oncoming final but also with his future years at Leeds University and
beyond.
