Bennett Associates (now known as Atkins, Rotherham) have been involved in the nuclear industry for over 20 years. Our expertise in the industry is that of mechanical engineering designers rather than 'Nuclear Engineers'.

Our problem solving skills and abilities have been utilised in all areas of the nuclear industry including:

We work within the nuclear defence industry for AWE and Babcock Marine (formerly DML).

	Seismic validation of lifting frame for nuclear submarines
	design & analysis of nuclear shield doors & restraints
	Static strength analysis for 10,000 year storm and full 100 year storm fatigue evaluation of EHJ mooring structure
	Working on the Hydrus project with AWE
