The Maryport Lift Bridge allows pedestrians to cross part of
Maryport Harbour reducing the time taken to get to the harbour master's office
and marine berths.
Bennett Associates were contracted to provide the control
software for Pennine Controls who were the electrical contractor for C. Spencer
Ltd.
