Our team of specialist engineers offer innovative and viable engineering solutions for the needs of the growing renewable energy sector. Bennett Associates designed the first 1 megawatt wind turbine to be manufactured in the UK. We have carried out a design study for an innovative brushless magnetic drive system for a wind turbine. We have also completed concept and feasibility studies for both tidal and wave generators.
With our cross-discipline teamwork approach, we are well placed to assist with the infrastructure of renewable energy schemes. We recently worked on the Robin Rigg Wind Farm project off the Cumbrian coast where we were responsible for the development of the route and profile for a drill in the installation of a cable duct under a railway line and environmentally sensitive beach.
